Create Your Own Icelandic Wool Monster
Create your own unique Icelandic souvenir in our cozy, family-run workshop on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, just 15 minutes from Reykjavík. Choose from a great variety of wool bodies, hands, feet, tails, horns, hair, eyes, and mouths to design a Wool Monster that is completely your own.
No sewing skills are required – you choose all the parts and create the design, while we take care of the sewing.
It is a private workshop, so only your group will be participating.

How long does the workshop take? Regular workshops take around 30-60 minutes.

Do I need sewing skills? No. You design and we sew.

Is the workshop private? Yes. Only your group will participate in the workshop.

Is it suitable for children? Yes the workshop is suitable for all ages.

Can adults participate too? Absolutely! Families, couples, groups of friends, and solo travellers all enjoy creating their own Wool Monsters.

Not everyone in our group wants to participate. Can they still come along? Yes, of course! Non-participating guests are welcome to join you. They can relax with a cup of coffee and watch the creative process, or take a stroll along our beautiful beach on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean while they wait.

What happens if our flight is delayed and we can't make our scheduled time? We understand that travel plans don't always go as expected. If your flight is delayed, please contact us by phone or email as soon as possible, and we will do our best to find another time for you to enjoy the workshop.

"PERFECTION! Our family had a wonderful and unique experience. Alma is a warm, kind, and flexible/understanding host and the physical space of her workshop is serene and cozy (even overlooking a cute little beach!). More broadly, this is a fantastic cultural counterpoint to all of Iceland's fantastic nature experiences. It is also as a perfect "before airport" activity for those with later in the day flights home, in terms of location and time commitment.
